CCAC/Pittsburgh Job Corps Partnership
The Pittsburgh Job Corps is able to sponsor Income/PELL Grant eligible students (age 17-24) to attend CCAC. These sponsorships are comprehensive.
Benefits include:
- Tuition Assistance/Books & Supplies (cost not covered by PELL Grant is paid by Job Corps)
- Gas Card/Bus Pass
- Monthly Stipend
- Clothing Allowance
- Completion Bonus ($500)
- Dental/Vision Plan & Driver’s Ed
Students are able to live at home and attend the CCAC campus of their choice. Over 45 areas of study are sponsored. There are no future obligations.

My name is Ms. Cherrie` and I am the Job Corps Admissions Counselor for students in Fayette and Westmoreland County. With so much uncertainty in our young adults’ futures right now, we want to ensure everyone is aware of the tuition-free trade opportunity here in Pittsburgh. Our campus offers 10 unique trades, reading and mathematics courses, dormitories, and recreational facilities, all at no cost to our students. We can also provide GED testing and high school diploma classrooms for those who struggled with traditional education and are looking for an opportunity to achieve these important milestones.
